Sugaki Yuzen is a yuzen dyeing technique in which patterns are expressed directly on the fabric using a brush in a painterly style. The pattern is drawn or copied freehand without a draft and then drawn up with brushes of various shapes and sizes. Please answer the form, if you are interested.

 

Teacher - Jiro Saida

Mr. Saida, who is the owner of his studio named "Tourokuya" in Saitama, started his career as a craftsman in 1998. He learned Hikizome, botanical dyeing and Sumi-ink Sugaki painting.
